Ryse Solutions is seeking a highly analytical, organized, and execution-focused leader to manage and improve the company's business operating systems, transformation initiatives, process governance framework, and performance reporting infrastructure for a 2 year contract.

This newly created position will serve as the organizational owner of business operations, workflow optimization, process governance, data standards, AI and automation initiatives, and management reporting. The role is intended to support Ryse's next stage of growth by improving accountability, creating scalable business processes, and ensuring the organization realizes the benefits of its investments in technology and automation. 

Acting as a strategic partner to Ryse leadership, the Manager will work across Partnerships & Client Success, Regulatory Affairs & Compliance, Operations, Finance, and corporate Technology to improve operational performance, standardize processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Purpose of the Role

Ryse requires a dedicated business owner for its operating platform, systems, workflows, data governance, AI and automation roadmap, and management reporting processes. The organization has invested in CRM, supply chain portal, MS Business Central, the Producer facing Universal Portal (UP), reporting tools, and automation capabilities, but requires centralized ownership to establish priorities, drive adoption, ensure controls, and realize measurable business value. 

The Manager will own business priorities, requirements, governance, controls, and organizational adoption. Technical execution may remain distributed among trained Ryse team members, corporate specialists, and external resources. This role is not intended to become Ryse's sole technical developer.

Position Description: 

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Operations Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Project Management, or a related field. 
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci, CBAP, or another relevant project, process, change, or business-analysis credential is an asset. 
• Approximately 5 or more years of progressive experience in business operations, transformation, process improvement, business analysis, project management, internal consulting, or a related field. 
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and implementing organization-wide process or system changes. 
• Experience owning business requirements, process design, user adoption, governance, and benefits realization for technology-enabled initiatives. 
• Experience developing executive dashboards, operational reporting, KPIs, and management insights. 
• Experience in a regulated, data-intensive, multi-stakeholder, professional-services, environmental-services, logistics, recycling, compliance, or industrial business is an asset. 

• Business process analysis, redesign, standardization, and continuous improvement. 
• Strong project governance, planning, facilitation, risk management, and execution discipline. 
• Data governance, reporting, dashboard design, and performance management. 
• Business systems ownership and the ability to translate operating needs into clear technical requirements.

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000/year.

Emterra Tire Recycling Ltd. is a proud division of Emterra Group and is a 100% Canadian, privately controlled company operating out of Brampton, Ontario. We haul and process used passenger, truck, industrial and agricultural tires. The Production Manager is responsible for ensuring the consistently safe and efficient operation of the Emterra tire recycling facility. Specifically, the role requires day-to-day leadership of production supervisors and plant employees to ensure production targets are met, safety requirements are observed and product quality meets, or exceeds all standards while ensuring equipment utilization, housekeeping standards, and operational costs are effectively managed.

Key tasks for the role are to maximize plant throughput, maintain product quality, minimize downtime and to continuously improve overall plant performance. 

Position Description

• Responsible for ensuring that the plant is fully staffed and ready in all other aspects to maintain its 24-7 operating schedule.
• Manage daily production activities and ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
• Lead and ensure required training of all types is provided to Shift Supervisors, Operators, and Production Employees.
• Monitor and report to Senior Management about plant throughput, downtime, labour utilization, material recovery, and product quality daily.
• Ensure compliance with company health and safety procedures, including PPE, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and safe operating practices.
• Work in accordance with and be knowledgeable of all Local, Provincial, and Federal rules, regulations and legislation that may be applicable to the facility.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and the plant’s Director of Operations to prioritize equipment repairs, conduct preventive maintenance, and make reliability improvements.
• Investigate and work to resolve all production issues, equipment-related delays, quality concerns, and recurring operational problems.
• Ensure proper operator inspections are performed at the beginning of each shift and that detailed production reporting, and shift handovers are completed as required.
• Maintain high standards for housekeeping, material management, and plant organization.
• Keep labour and overtime costs within mandated limits while maintaining appropriate staffing levels.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Providing direction to Production Supervisors and production employees.
• Establishing shift priorities and production expectations.
• Reviewing production and downtime performance.
• Coaching supervisors on leadership, accountability, safety, and operational discipline.
• Supporting recruitment, training, performance management, and employee development

Skills and Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical/Industrial Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Equivalent manufacturing or recycling industry experience may be considered.
• Previous leadership experience in manufacturing, recycling, heavy industrial processing, waste management, automotive, rubber processing, or a similar industrial environment.
• Experience managing 24/7 production operations.
• Experience with PLC programming/controls is an asset.
• Experience with industrial processing equipment, production KPIs, downtime analysis, and continuous improvement is preferred

Job Summary

Responsible for operating recycling collection vehicles across Northern Ontario, safely collecting recyclable materials, completing assigned routes efficiently, and providing excellent customer service. This position services multiple collection areas throughout the region, including communities between Sault Ste. Marie, Wawa, Timmins, Thunder Bay, Kenora, and Red Lake. Overnight travel is required as part of regular route operations. Drivers are responsible for completing pre- and post-trip inspections and ensuring compliance with all safety and company policies.

Position Description

• Operate recycling collection vehicles in a safe and professional manner;

• Collect and transport recyclable materials from assigned customer locations;

• Service multiple collection routes and municipalities across Northern Ontario;

• Travel throughout designated service areas, including overnight stays as required;

• Observe all company safety policies and safe work practices;

• Provide excellent customer service in accordance with company policies;

• Ensure assigned routes are successfully completed in a timely and safe manner;

• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs);

• Maintain accurate route documentation and communicate effectively with operations teams.

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Ontario DZ driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract and CVOR;

• Minimum one-year experience driving with a DZ license OR AZ graduate from an accredited driving school;

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs;

• Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout Northern Ontario;

• Flexibility to work a rotating schedule averaging four days per week, with occasional five-day work weeks based on operational requirements;

• Comfortable working independently and staying overnight away from home as required;

• Strong time management and organizational skills;

• Knowledge of Northern Ontario roadways and driving conditions is considered an asset;

• Able to successfully pass all required pre-employment screenings;

• Punctual, reliable, and a team player.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a plant supervisory or management role.
• POME licensing is considered an asset for this role. 
• Ability to use mobile equipment and the ability to train and evaluate operators on mobile equipment.
• Experience in waste industry is considered an asset.
• Flexibility to cover day shift and/or weekends, when required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude is considered an asset.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance collection operations, service delivery, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with Route Supervisors and other operational leaders to address missed collections, service concerns, customer complaints, and other escalated operational issues.
• Respond to and resolve escalated customer and municipal inquiries and complaints with professionalism and urgency.
• Ensure appropriate resources, including staffing, fleet, and equipment, are available to meet daily operational and service requirements.

• Investigate operational and safety incidents and support the implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

What will you bring?

• A post graduate degree or diploma in business, operations management, environmental studies, safety, or a related field

The Field System Support Technician will monitor and troubleshoot operational systems and equipment from Emterra’s Remote Monitoring Center in Surrey, BC. This role provides real-time technical and operational support to the Operations team to identify issues, coordinate solutions, and help keep operations running safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have strong technical, analytical, and troubleshooting skills and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor operational systems, equipment, truck scales, cameras, and material flow to identify issues, risks, and outliers.

Reporting to the Western Regional Controller, you will oversee the financial administration of assigned divisions and operations across Western Canada and serve as a trusted, dependable right-hand partner to the Controller. Qualifications and Experience

Position Description

• Financial strategy and capital planning: Oversee development and the maintaining of a multi-year financial strategy that supports profitable growth, disciplined reinvestment, working capital management, capital structure decisions, acquisitions, major contract opportunities, and long-term shareholder value.
• Financial reporting and controls: Oversee accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting; strengthen internal controls; ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable federal, provincial, municipal, tax, and regulatory requirements; and, improve the consistency of reporting across business units and regions.

• Cross-functional business partnership: Work directly with operations, commercial, legal, human resources, safety, procurement, and regional leadership to improve decision-making, contract performance, cost control, asset utilization, and accountability for results.
• Stakeholder Relations: Communicate financial performance, risks, priorities, and recommendations to ownership, the executive leadership team, senior operators, lenders, bonding companies, insurers, external auditors, tax advisors, and other key partners.

• Serve as a senior advisor to the ownership group and executive leadership team on financial strategy, capital allocation, risk, growth opportunities, acquisitions, major customer contracts, and operational performance;
• Build a finance function that is accurate, timely, service-oriented, and commercially aware, with reporting tools that help leaders understand margin, cost drivers, cash flow, asset performance, and contract profitability; may develop a financial planning & analysis (FP&A) capability that aligns closely with business operations and divisions and encourages the finance team to partner closely with the business units;
• Partner with the CEO, COO, ownership group, and operating leaders to align financial, information technology, and risk management priorities with the company’s strategic plan;
• Lead annual business planning, budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure planning, internal controls, audit readiness, valuation support, pricing review, treasury, credit, tax, insurance, and external reporting;
• Model a hands-on leadership style by setting clear expectations, developing leaders, addressing performance issues directly, and building practical processes that improve accountability and decision-making;
• Help embed a data-driven and accountable culture; 
• Enable enterprise-wide visibility through real-time performance dashboards and analytics;

• Experience gained within complex environments; has ideally led finance teams for manufacturing, logistics, transportation, and/or material processing operations; expertise in optimizing a large fleet (routing, operating and maintenance) is beneficial;

Responsibilities:

• As a floor Truck Mechanic, keep maintenance reports, work orders and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose and complete all repairs safely and within company policy and manufacturer specifications.
• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive and truck systems including fuel systems, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, chassis, frame, cab, body, air brakes, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized repair equipment. (Aligned with duties as per NOC#72410)
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Communicate regularly with managers regarding repair status and concerns.
• Provide guidance and Instruct apprentices and other junior team members.
• Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubricants, and tune ups.
• Work as part of a team to support the daily needs of the operation.
• Maintain a clean & organized shop/equipment work area.
• Suggest positive changes to processes or procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

·         Observe safe work practices.

Qualifications:

• Certificate of qualifications 310T or Red Seal License; or equivalent to challenge provincial exam.
• Must have over 4 years working experience in the trade.
• Must have completed training courses in the trade.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems is an asset.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Basic proficiency with use of computers.
• Work experience with online preventative maintenance programs.
• Ability to stand/lift 60lbs/carrying/bending/twisting for periods at a time/repeatedly.
• Effective communication skills (both written & verbal); and
• Punctual, reliable, team player
• Must have the ability to speak, write and read English.

Wage: Minimum $36.65

Responsibilities

• Work under limited supervision and performs tasks according to written instructions and established procedures.
• Perform repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
• Perform inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and requisition new parts.
• Perform all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
• Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles.
• Complete required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
• Assist senior Mechanics in the completion of project work.
• Review, complete or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / Worksafe Standards, and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of relevant work experience, certified Red Seal Diesel Mechanic is an asset.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Knowledge/ experience using RTA an asset
• Valid driver’s license and must have a clean driving record, Class 3 Driver's Licence or higher is an asset.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Able to successfully pass a background check consisting of an MTO medical/drug test, criminal history search, license verification and employment confirmation.

• Be knowledgeable and practice safe procedures with respect to LOTO, fall arrest, hot work permits and confined space;
• Always wear the appropriate PPE;
• Be aware and alert of all plant moving equipment, belts, bearings, conveyors and machinery;
• Perform different jobs as assigned by supervisor or Manager;
• Assist in the design, implement and monitor preventative maintenance programs for all plant, facility and rolling stock (excavator, skid steer, forklift, etc.) and ensure that they are consistent with manufacturer’s and supplier’s maintenance manuals;
• Implement daily, weekly and monthly checklists in order to ensure adherence to preventative maintenance programs;
• Plans and adheres to work schedule consistent with the needs of the plant and maintenance programs;
• Maintain proper log books of all maintenance activities;
• Assist in managing inventory levels of critical replacement parts (internally & externally) in the most cost effective and efficient manner;
• Participate in Health & Safety initiatives of the plant;
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management;
• Working hours: 8-10 hour shift rotations and weekends/holidays as required.

• Millwright Apprentice Level 3 up to Red Seal Millwright.
• Must have excellent welding and fabrication skills;
• Technical expertise with hydraulics, pumps, motors, conveyors, shaft alignment, pulleys, belts and bearings and the ability to troubleshoot/diagnose failures of same;
• Excellent communication in both verbal and written;
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
